Monty Burns just called. He got delayed today by a personal prob, & arrived late. The VERY SAME problem delayed his start in this very comp 2 years ago. And he went on to win it, & a cool £100,000

Here's postively beaming Jan Heitmann after knocking out Trevor Reardon. He and Tim Flanders are runaway chip leaders with 130,000 and 140,000 respectively.
Jan is a very solid player and by the looks of this pic, im beginning to think, is he actually human? Those eyes are freaky..

Post dinner buffet break is still on, and the players have gathered behind the velvet rope in anticipation.
Thanks to the Vic for letting the update guys all get a nice piece of chicken, some ribs and a bit of salmon. Maybe that was just me.

No, sorry. Martin is gone. Down to 45 players as they head back to take their seats. Dave has a whopping 54,000 now which bodes well for the second shift of Day Two (and tikay's Omen)... |
