sorry to be the bearer of bad news...

He was all in pre flop 44 v Jan Heitmann's JJ...Martin said Jan had just won a big pot and raised for the umpteenth timeto 10,000 and Martin wasnt even sure Jan had looked at his cards! Martin pushed his 57,000 stack in the middle with the 44. Jan called pretty quickly and no help whatsoever from the board sent him packing in 29th place, 1 off the bubble. He's gone straight home so its one horrible drive back down to Brighton for him.

Hey up everyone - great update as usual. I'm four-fifths of the way through catching up on my downloaded 24 episodes and pop in to read the latest after every one.

1) The discussion about Jan and his style of play between Ben, Dubai, Ariston, Actionjack et al is exactly the type of high-level, in-depth analysis that makes this place so great - incredibly enlightening.

2) Stephen Pearce - whilst I can appreciate those of you who would wish to hold the higher moral ground upon his tournament demise, I'm firmly of the 'if you dish it out you've got to be prepared to take it' school - provided it's done in a funny and witty way, there's nothing wrong with giving him the mother of all rubdowns.
