Still 28 players bubble-wary... although several short stacks have taken the plunge, they've come out with doubleups.  Like Angelo Besnainou whose  took him from 17k to a bit over twice that when Pippa Flanders decided to give him a spin with  .

Then Woody Deck got another short stack all-in with  against his  .  He even hit a King and a Jack on the flop, but the bubble didn't burst - the rest of the board came 7 8 6!  Six card straight pays double...

And Elie Marciano is the unfortunate bubble, racing  against  .  The King and Jack both hit, but the set was victorious and everyone is in the money!  £1,750, and a little profit, guaranteed for the remaining three tables.

Still not 100% on whether that will be the end of the day's play, or whether pressure from players has convinced the Vic to play on for a bit tonight to spare tomorrow being a 14-hourer.

Yes, for whatever reason, they've stuck to their guns and the little blue chip baggies are out.  In half an hour we'll be able to post the final chip counts for today - expect Marc Goodwin's name to be somewhere near the top...

Another terrific day's Updating, thanks Jen & Ben.

I will be down there tomorrow wearing my 425 Stand-In Producer's Hat, with Bradley as my "interview & Links" man. Whatever next?
