Sunday is gathering counts - so I can fiddle with my computer and show you a radiant Dave, post double up, having a chat with Ash Hussain.  Just shows how coming back on Day Two can be profitable, no matter what size your stack, with the right frame of mind.

Anthony Mackay is OUT -

One of those auto-hands.  The Button raised, Anthony moved in on the big blind with  , the button called with his  and the board brought another Queen to knock him out.

Only just managed to drag myself out of bed after a late one, writing up the story of the event so far for tomorrow's edition of The Sportsman newspaper. Will be down at the casino in an hour or two.

If Reg Dog is still around, can someone pass on my commiserations. Also, if David Gent is stil lin, can someone wish him well from me.

You mean This David Gent?  He's looking happy, actually, and slowly increasing his chips.

Here's a pair of tournament heavyweights sat side by side - ponytailed Pascal Perrault and Anders Berg.  They look like they're competing over who can pay less attention to the action at the table.

Just heard the cardroom manager say "blinds up in 2 minutes"

Next level is 600/1200 with a running ante of 75..

Averaage stack is a fraction over 40,000

and there are 63 players left...

So the average stack has almost 35 BB's then.........

What was being said about the structure?

I admit - it is all my fault.  All is well now, and the A World of Poker Gents have set up a nice fourway power thing, helpfully listed the whole redraw and are generally being an asset to this corner.

The two tables downstairs have lost the five who have been lost, among them Michael Svobodny and Paul Foltyn.  Vicky Coren spotted round the corner smoking what looks like post-tourney cig too...

Afternoon Jen!

I'm looking forward to this. I'm surfing the Forum, playing the $250 Freeze on Laddies, & watching the Update. Can't be bad.

xx

Booo hiss, keep yer dead money for Blonde poker!!

I also had an attack of the confusies - it was Stephen Pearce involved in that table-chat hand-discussion discussion, not Tim Flanders - who is also still in, however.  Here's his Mrs. - getting used to seeing her go deep in these competitions.  On her left is quiet sugar afficionado Angelo Besnainou.
