Well nice to see that Kev hasn't been abusing my good (?) name on the Forum - he's getting another nice cup of tea for his diligent efforts.

Since I can see Dave being interviewed, I reckon that play has yet to begin again.  After waiting for 15 minutes for the chef to appear downstairs, we ran down the road and ate steaks. Mmmmm, steaks.

OK, they're resat - back to work.  Hope you're sitting comfortably, as shorter blinds or no shorter blinds, this will probably be a long night.

Blinds will be 8k - 16k, ante 500.

Jeffrey Rogers is OUT in 14th place, winning £3,000

Time was running out, with the blinds suddenly rather large, and when Jan raised (again) he pushed in on the button and eventually got called.
Jeffrey showed:
Jan showed:

The board brought no set for Jeff, but nearly a flush for Jan who didn't need it anyway and he busts yet another player, consolidating his chip lead.

********Ian Woodley is OUT in 13th Place Picking up £3,000*********

with blinds now at 8000/16000 players are getting busy and Ian Woodley is our latest casualty,

It was folded to Dave Colclough on the button who made a standard raise to 45,000

Ian pushed for 20,000 more for dave to call, Dave called quickly and showed Ah

Ian -

flop came in this order (oh no)   turn   river and Dave is now beaming with delight, and a stack of just over 300,000

Keith 'The Camel' Hawkins is OUT in 12th place, winning £3,000

He made a move on Jan's big blind while he still had enough chips to make it work - with .  But Marc Goodwin on his left spotted it and moved in over the top with .

The board brought the on the river, but with the board reading x only a 2 would have saved the Camel.  Well played after a long few days...

Great Forum thanks for all the informations.

I have to say that Sunday8pm has been a staunch supporter of Jan all the way through, and his controversial yet totally well-mannered style of play is only creating the right sort of debate.  Good luck to him.
