Hi Red

Don't know who won - I busted ouit 7th. A-10 dont play so good against A-K. I hit my 10. He hit his K Twice!

J-10? Remind me.

Report? Did a little piece on the front page today. Not sure if they stiill talking to me after that, though.....

My money has to be on John Pritchard to have won it - I think he played beautifully all evening.

I wrote to Kalpesh this morning & asked him to send me the final result. If he sends it to me, I will put it up.

OK, the results.

WINNER - 2,000 and a $2,750 seat in a big Ladbrokes comp, was Iwan Jones.

SECOND - 1,200, John Pritchard.

THIRD - 800, John Heron.

I asked Kalpesh "which guy was John Heron?", 'cos I did not know who he was.

He said "the balding pot-bellied geezer from Dorchester". See, you can understand why I enjoyed the evening so much. Great, great characters. They tell it how it is down there.

Hi RED-DOG.
Front page is www.blondepoker.com
When you are there, you will read one of the most originally superb pieces of writing by Tikay.

Let me say at the outset, Tikay is one of my friends and you may think I am offering bias but, I have never put this before, in fact, to this date have actually offered more "constructive comment" than compliments. When I read that piece I could have been in the room (or warehouse!!). I believe his writing style is original anyway but it appears a lot went into this piece and think it is worthy of recognition.

Well done Tony, a thoroughly enjoyable article, Thank You.

I too would like to compliment tikay the writer, on his excellent aricle, more please. I would also like to compliment Mr Tony Kendal, the man. He is a gentleman is the true sense of the word. I have been playing poker for a couple of years now and from the first time he saw me he went out of his way help me and encourage me and I have nothing but respect and admiration for him. He is blessed with an incredible drive and wonderfull people skills. It is a testimony to his integrity that at the start of the 250 event last night at Tomz he was nominated as official ajudicator without one objection from the other players although he himself was playing.
If I can ever help him in any way I would be more than glad to do so, I am proud to call him my friend.

But, if he thinks I'm going to recomend this site to all my mates when he reveals that I'm NOT a great player ( ON THE FRONT PAGE) just when I'd convinced them that I am....HE'S GOT ANOTHER THINK COMING!

Good luck Tony, May your soul get to heven half an hour before the devil knows you dead.
                                                                    Your m8, RED-DOG.

As it's come up, I'd like to second much of whast Reddog's said below. Both Tikay and Julian Thew have been extremely generous to me through a difficult period of both my poker apprenticeship and my life away from the tables, providing advise and support beyond compare. you couldn't hope to meet a nicer pair of blokes. no wonder everyones shouting about Blonde Poker. who wouldn't do everything they can to help Tikay make a success of it.

Cheers lads
