And here was smiley Mr. O'Gorman, post elimination, who said he'd enjoyed the comp.  I think they should have given him a consolation WSOP seat for being such a cheerful player in defeat.

Great updating as normal.

Any you tell me if they are playing down to the final table tonight then playing it live tomorrow? IM going to be in Dublin for a few days from tomorrow and was thinking of going along to support the remaining blondes. But if its going to start at 9 tomorrow may have to give it a miss as will be in the middle of the pub crawl

Yes - down to the final and then they're moving to a TV studio type thing while we bloggers remain here where we can transmit at the same time as it goes out live on Sky, with the benefit of seeing the hole cards rather than just watching from stands around the final table.

It does seem a bit odd to be updating from the telly - but not everyone has access to cable, or indeed our insightful and thought-provoking commentary Wink  Especially after some beer.

Vince Melina doubles through off PaddyPower qualifier Pat O'Callaghan.

All the chips flew in on a flop of Two Diamonds

Malvin =

O'Callaghan =

Melina was mighty relieved when the turn and river came blanks.

Quiet throughout then a yelp of delight at the end.

O'Callaghan wasn't so pleased, he's down to 80k...

although he still has his WSOP package.

we reckon Jesse May and, if he doesn't make the final, Roy Brindley.

How many are left?

19 left, after Namir Mohamed is eliminated racing  against Vince Malina's .
The board was all low, in fact it was this:  and the players gave that slow elimination clap...

Any chance of chipcounts?

Chris Flint is also OUT (just before Namir) with another similar race.  And I can hear even MORE applause...

As far as chip distribution, there's a fair lot on Stuart Fox's table - I note especially Brendan Ruane with 360k.

Rob Yong, although not crippled by that pot, is now definitely a bit behind the front runners.
