had exactly the same thing yesterday in a $11mtt on party - 33, 55 and KK respectively on a 35K flop. Had the 5 but luckily enough chips to survive the blow. Only difference is we pushed postflop.

At least the river wasn't a 9.

There are some strange hands dealt in live games too.

yep totally agree, its very random, although it certainly does feel like some sites are more random than others

you tend to know when the bad beat is coming.

you should bottle this magical power and sell it on the black market, it would be worth a lot of money.

We were playing a £20 rebuy tournament at Leo's casino in Liverpool on Friday and the first hand of the entire tournament went as follows. There were 3 players for all contrived to get their 1500 chips into the pot preflop and turned over their hands.

Player 1:

Player 2:

Player 3:

Flop (in this order):

Lots of ooo's and ahh's

Turn:

River:

As the dealer pushed the chips to the gentleman with quad 10's two of us pointed out that the pocket 8's had made a straight flush - about 40 people from other tables got out of their seats to come over and look, it was about 5 minutes later before the second hand was dealt!!

But then again "live" poker is just as rigged as the internet..............

we had an interesting river card dealt at Notts Sunday.
11 players left so we're hand for hand / bubble
we have a player all in on our able. the SB and UTG players are also both in but there's no side pot.
(not all cards are accurate, but not all are relevant)
flop is  Two Clubs
inevitably check check
turn
check check
river

SB moves all in. not sure of the amount but it's a massive bet compared to pot 1
the UTG caller turns his nut flush over as he calls,  I think
SB has
the UTG player hasn't stopped to think about the paired board and , having made his hand on the end couldnt get them in quick enough.
