Jen busted me in the third hand of this afternoon's Gutshot tournament.
With starting blinds of 25-25 (starting stack = 1500,) I took a limp in middle position with
.
The board came down
. Jen chucked 100 chips in. (There may have been one caller before me, I forget.) I re-raised to 500 chips; Jen went all-in. I thought for about 10 seconds then called, and as I feared my flush was outkicked by Jen's
, meaning I didn't even have any outs to the straight flush.
I figure percentage-wise it's about 2% for someone to flop a Jack-flush and another player to have flopped a higher flush, so I think I did the mathematically correct thing.
Ah well, sorry I didn't quite get a chance to introduce myself, but it was fun whilst I was there.
Hope you went on to win it.
