Boy, that break brought a few stories.

Here's one from RED-DOG...

Mateyboy (just for you homer) raises.

RED find pocket kings in the small blind and sticks in a reraise. Mateyboy calls.

Flop = A-Q-J

RED checks, Mateyboy checks.

Turn = K

eeeeek!

RED checks again, but this time Mateyboy bets. RED-DOG smooth calls.

River is a rather delightful, and a lot less intimidating, Jack.

Aye Carumba.

RED checks, Mateyboy bets, and RED flat calls.

What has Mateyboy got?

I really hope it's not JJ or AA

Julian vs Iwan News Now:

On a flop of big blind Iwan checked, Julian bet 500, call.
Turn: two spades  Check to Julian, 500 again, call.
River: Check-check.  Iwans's beats Julian's .

But that's not the interesting part - Tikay springs up to tell me that he folded for 200 after "thinking for too long."  Apparently contemplating a raise even, his sensible side took over and he passed what was a double dominated hand.  Preflop, anyway...

Some random snippets of information for you...

-- Rumit is on 23k

-- John Hewston loses a massive pot to Rob Yong. K-K v A-K. And in the words of Greenstein... 'Ace On The River'.

-- Gareth Jones doubles up with tens versus A-Q on a 2-5-6 flop, K turn, 7 River.

And here is newly-chipped up Rob Yong.  According to Snoopy, he is now one of only two players sitting with their chair the wrong way round (Not Pictured Here).  Is there an optimal stage of comp to reverse your chair?  If so, what?

Thomas Middelthon takes a huge double-up and is now on around the 30k mark, perhaps just less.

On a flop of three diamonds , Mateyboy raises 4k, Thomas moves in for another 7.2k, and Mateboy calls.

versus

Flush wins.

The Nun is only a thousand or so beneath the last count, but looks in good spirits...

Elsewhere:

Texas Johnny Hewston  32,000 (Nearly Chip Leader)
Dave McGeachie  4,500
Bambos             39,000 (Actual Chip Leader)
RED-DOG           13,900
Alan Armitage      8,000  (Is this the bloke in the stripey shirt sat to RED's left?  I heard he'd been spotted on here earlier - any verification?)
Trevor Reardon   10,000
Skalie                 8,500
'Our-Peg'            9,600
Mickey Wernick    16,200 (When he orders tea from me it usually gets the whole table doing it.  Naughty.)
Ian Woodley        7,700

Using all my investigative guile (well, asking Malc) I have discovered what happened to JP - he raised with Aces, Henning Granstad called with .

Eight-high flop.

End of story.

I'd like to give him a bad write-up but I just can't.

Whatever it was I assume Mateyboy is now sat at the bar, the night's first victim of NoFlops's bokking service

Skalie is OUT in slightly 'one in the groin' circumstances.

Mateyboy raises preflop, Skalie calls.

Flop = 2-J-A

Skalie bets, Mateyboy puts him all-in, Skalie calls.

Mateyboy = T-T

Skalie = A-Q

Turn = T

Bang goes the table.

We regret to inform you that Alan Armitage is now OUT - after a rather non-starter handwise, he moved his last 4,000 in with  , but found  lurking behind him.  Sorry to his girlfriend - snapped him on the way out for you:
