As you all know it was the Paddy Power Poker Irish Open over the weekend, and a fantastic event it was too. Not only did Paddy Power add €50,000 to the prize pool but they laid on fancy nibbles and a free bar for the players and their guests at the RDS.
On the lead up to the final day, Easter Sunday, many of the players gathered in the only open bar available at the Jurys Hotel. Many of you know the friendly Scots chap who wears purple, Tony Chessa and the loveable Simon Nowab. They were of course present at the bar with Simon ordering bottles of champagne and then promptly seeking a mug to pay for them. Tony was the first. Simon then proceeded to tease Tony on his dress and heritage. In a bid to prove his worthiness and the quality of his jean lable, Tony began undressing right there in the bar revealing his Sunday bests. Needless to say none of us or the barmaid were very impressed! But it was pretty funny.
