I go down for breakfast at about 11.40am, sit down and have some food. Just as I finish they start to serve lunch at noon so I think that I might as well stay for lunch too

I go and register for the $200 freezeout where I queue with Sunday and he's not joking, he could harldy stand then. My tournament wasnt very successful unfortunatley.I was sat on the same table as fellow blondite, marcro. I decided that I wanted to try to be fairly aggresive early on which led to my early exit. I lost a few chips very early after being caught at it. I then got some chips back after I re-raised somebody with Q-Q and fortunately caught an 8 high flop, I pushed and he folded, I didnt show him the cards but he said nice hand. 2 hands later I pick up Aces and re-raise the short stack trying to commit him but he folds. Then came the start of my downfall. I raised in mid-late position with J-Q and the short stack moved all in for only 375 more so I had to call, he turns over Ad-Tc. I get a straight draw on the flop and make the straight on the river but there are 4 diamonds on board to give him the nut flush. I then get caught with J-T on a ten high flop so I push only to be called by A-T, and that was me gone. Julian went quite deep just missing out on the money. I think he lost a massive pot when holding Aces against Tens.
I went and played roulette after and got most of my buy-in back. I played a couple of sit n gos on the night and won 1 so I'm in profit for the day.
I hear the Rookie is over today, I'm not sure what time but I'm sure most of the hotel will hear when he arrives .
