I'm not sure you would if you knew the guy Red. If not, ignore all this. I'm pretty sure it's a guy who used to come back when I played and dealt at gala 4 years ago. Gold tooth, bad arm and girlfriend who looks like Vicky Pollard. He's a degen and always has been. And a nasty, rude piece of work to boot. I remember him owing Dave Nesbit (anyone who knows Dave will vouch for what a nice guy he is) £50 or £100 and sitting in a cash game that I was dealing with £200. Dave was in the game, asked for the money he was owed and the guy told him to fuck off. Dave, didn't make a drama but just got up and left. I refused to deal to the guy that day but learnt what a **** he was then. No way am I lending him a cent. I laughed so hard it hurt at this comment. My exact view with very similar experiences with a different person. What an absolute cockend. Full trip report please Alex? |

I had these massive fish peeling my allins with Jack high, how is that the best hand unimproved gtfo! |

I run good at running it twice. Scooped a £340 pot with TTvsKK allin pre wiiiiii! Rivered a gutshot the first time and rivered a set for the second one. Was pretty tired and not feeling that great so quit after a very moderate win. Won almost 500 last night and have now had 5 winning sessions in a row following a sick losing run containing two £600-700 losses (biggest losing days ever).
Lost a pretty sick hand where I overbet shoved the turn with bottom pair and J high flush draw, was effectively £70 into about £30 I think not sure. Standard Gala fish calls with and 8high flush draw, no pair and he finds an 8 so running pretty swingy in allin situations atm!
Glad I quit and left cos wasn't playing great. There was a spot where this guy bet £55 on the river and I had £130 back and he was repping almost nothing and I definitely should've shoved but didn't and really regret that.
I have one more session at DTD tomorrow then I'm off to Amsterdam until Monday whooop! I am going to visit my Dutch friend, Steve, who I met on my gap year. We travelled South America together, then the following summer South East Asia, then last summer Central America. We never see each other (or even really speak to each other) during the year except in the summer when we spend 24/7 together, it's pretty strange! But the guy is a legend and I'm so looking forward to it. Will update profit/loss so far tomorrow.
