So I was supposed to be getting the train to Stansted Airport at 230 this afternoon for my Amsterdam trip only for it to be dealayed then fkn cancelled meaning I was 3hours away from Standsted and after waiting around to see what was going on, 4hrs before my flight took off. There was no possible way I could get there in time so I had to cancel my trip and reschudule. Gonna go next month instead so was mega pissed off this afternoon.
Silver linings -
- Opportunity costs: 5-7extra days play, plus money not spent in amsterdam = c£800
- Snapbought in for Day 1A of the Grand Prix. Didn't get to play this last time either so looking forward to that.
- Shipped the £50 6max at DTD tonight for £1.1k wiiiiii
Lost all chips but 900 in first couple of levels. Got 64hh allin and won, and spun that 900 into double average in a couple of levels. Ran not great until the bubble then was godlike and destroyed everyone in my path. Got coolered many times on final table and got it in 30/70 3times and got there each time wiiii. Won a massive flip, and held in my 60/40s etc. Nice life. Refused to deal and just won it outright. Only downside was having to yet again give Andy £200+ as we swapped 20% when there was two tables left. He obv got it in with 8high and came 11th or something sigh.
So was obv prettty chuffed with this bink even though I realise I ran insanse to get there. Can't really claim there was much skill involved - Once I had chips I took it seriously and made good decisions but basically it was mostly down to rungood. We're now winning 4figures for both touneys and cash for the month so a bad month is turning into a good one, considering i've played 80hours so far this month and would normally have played 120ish by the 21st.
