Replacing one scouse roffler with another? If he's anything like his predecessor he'll spend half his life trying to make out that there's a huge MK-Posh rivalry.

Can see why Stringfellow is taking this route though. If it isn't Gerrard, it could well be Giggs or Lampard.

Sheff Utd v Shrewsbury

Sheff Utd have been on fire recently but Shrewsbury look over priced at 7/1 to me.

Shrewsbury have appointed Paul Hurst, who got Grimsby promoted and is well thought of.

Since his appointment they have kept three clean sheets and beat Oxford last week.

He seemed to have instilled confidence in them, with players saying "we are fearless".

7/1?

Appreciate any views.

Forgive my ignorance,  George groves is 1/25 to win his fight tonight yet he's odds against to win by knockout.  I'd have assumed someone that short would be knocking him out,  no?

Hi Nelly,

Might be worth asking the question on the boxing thread. Those boys are well clued up.

Only thing I can add is that the opponent has never been knocked out in his professional career.

Boxrec said 1 loss by knockout? From 4 total losses (may of been amateur I guess). Ranked 54 to Groves 3rd in Europe. Also groves is around 75% wins by knockout. That's all I can add which doesn't help in the slightest

The stoppage was due to an eye injury rather than a knockout. Gutneckt has a pretty solid chin and Grovesisnt the biggest puncher at 168. The 6/5 Groves by UD is fair enough as he won't lose a round.

Was going to put up an ante post each way in the betfair chase, but never got round to it and we are left with 7.  ho hum.  Think it is a cracking day for watching.  Love Cue Card though
