Great result tikay you must be over the moon.  Those updates read like the end of that tournament was pretty fast paced.

Question though, do all tournaments these days end with deals being done?  I hardly seem to see any being played out to the final chip, even when they do some deal has been arranged before hand.

Not complaining mind, cash out > buy in = win

Hi Aaron.

I'm not keen on plucking figures out of the air, & I rarely play Live Poker these days, except for 6 weeks every year in Vegas. I've played a good few in the UK over the course of 15 years though, & made hundreds of (little) Finals.

I'd set the line at 75% or more end in business. In fact, I'd bet good money the figure is higher than that.

Anyone else want to pluck a figure out of the air?

PS - how is LEO? (See, I got there eventually. Sorry about that).

I have the same problem with Phil Quayle's son - I get confused EVERY time between Conor & Connor. I know his wife's name - Lois, & his daughters name - Caitlin, but buggered if I can ever remember if it is Conor or Connor. (It's Conor I think, same as the ill-fated horse).

Leo is just great, since he's finished his exams and been to prom I think every night since has been an after-prom after party.  Must be nice.

Some new guy just started at work called Conroy and everyday someone calls him or emails him Connor, that must get annoying.

I'll be up for a few hours yet so looking forward to tonights updates.

There's nothing better than clicking in the thread for a catch up and seeing there have been ten more pages. A lovely sweat and a great result. Well played mate.

This is my view of the flop.

Can you read those board cards?

I know I can't.

Seats 2 and 8 should be made illegal IMO.

It's an outrage.

Level 1 complete, 13,700 from 15,000.

No material, and with just 5 of us at the table, and the fastest dealer I have seen all trip, the blinds don't half eat into your stack, even at only 50-100.

Raised pre flop once all level and whiffed the flop completely. Thought about bluffing it ( was high only, paired) but bottled it, just as well, as Russia 2 ( three Ruskis on the table) flashed quads as he folded.

Level 3 complete, 14,750 from 15,000.

The table filled so that eased the pace a little, and we did one little SCOOPIO to get us back to starting.

There are now FIVE Russians on this table. That's been the theme all trip, loads of Russians, and they especially love Hi Low. Animal, was that your experience?

103 entrants, from which there have been 6 bustees already,
