lol at WACCOE forums, saying the only club to have made a bid for Beckford is Coventry..
That would be a step back if he went there imo.

I'm a bit surprised to be honest. Saw him quite a bit locally for Luton and his goalscoring record was poor. He then hardly got a look in at Cardiff
Then again Martinez (who has developed a lot of players, spotted a lot of rough diamonds) at Swansea took him on loan, he scored one in two and Swansea wanted him permanently which Cardiff scuppered
So of course the jury is out. I hope the always patient and understnading Leeds fans (
)give it a bit of time and don't expect him to pull up trees from the start

Hes S***, not exactly the most prolific striker out there, quite a shock that itll be a free transfer. Not gonna get very far with these piss poor signings, might aswell re sign Harpal Singh while we're at it.

They did want him, but he broke his ankle while there scuppering the move... Clever little player, not going to set the division alight, but will help others around him, more a 'managers player'...

No comment from anybody on that lovely, kindly old pensioner Kenny B losing his libel case? £50k in damages and an estimated £1.5m in costs?

How can we criticise him, he saved us when we were facing extinction.

Ken Bates is a proper shister. Yeah he saved Leeds but at a cost or aliegating alot of the fans. He basically thinks he can do anything and printing out ex-owners home address in the program slating them off is as snide as they come.
I was watching the Big brother eviction last week and one of the signs was "Love Leeds, Hate Bates" made me chuckle, how true.
