Back to defend!
If there is enough interest in a dynasty league for those who aren't already in one, we could always set up a second. I've been in an NHL dynasty which is now in its 11th season (28 man active roster, 28 man farm limit). Would be happy to commish. Would probably need 12 to have it run effectively in my experience.
I was toying with the idea of a 2nd D league myself, but not sure if it would spread everyone too thin. The redraft league is expandable, especially now we have a multi-division format but the only option with a D-league is a new league. However, chances are in a couple of seasons there'd be a demand for another one, and so on so I'm not 100% sure it solves the problem, rather than perpetuating it. Opinions welcome, as always.
For clarity on the D-league there is a short waiting list from last year already. I will double check to re-confirm but I think it's Ironside followed by GrahamC. Will add the other interested parties to this, in order of expression of interest and reconfirm.
The redraft league is simply a case of seeing how many interested people there are (again, in order of expression of interest) and then trying to find a format to accomodate as many as possible. Existing players will be kept in, provided they want to stay in, but generally we've been able to accomodate pretty much everyone each season who wanted to play. That remains the objective going forward,
