Bigggg accident.
Raised with A-2-3-K, and get one customer.
We get it all in on the A-A-7 flop. He has A-7 and the back up nut low draw fails to materialise.

Yup, pretty poor effort today.
My exit was mildly interesting, after I 3 bet with......
The opener - good player - dwelt for ever. He knew my hand, obv, but did not know my kickers. Awkward spot for him.
Eventually, he just called, knowing that I'd be jamming any flop, as I was first to act. He clearly had a good low, or, at a push, Kings with a low, but I had a blocker king so probably just the low.
The flop was not terrible for me - K-4-8, virtually ruling out K-K - but with 2 low cards he'd be calling for sure.
I jammed, he called, & he flipped A-2-3-9, so I'm chopping, unless I can avoid a low card, in which case I scoop.
Turn was a great card - the 9 - or so I thought, as he has to hit his low now or I scoop, but the river was a deuce, so he caught 2 pair.
Standard O8 stuff really, bit of a shame though. Don't think we can play it any different.

Work starts in the next few days, the first Sky Poker Staffer arrives tomorrow, & I'm collecting him from McCarron @ Noon.
Then, at 5pm, I'm off to Venetian, for the $600 Big O, which is a 2 day affair - I hope.
Been working all evening here, & am wrecked, so an early night in prospect.

There was another huge rainstorm late last night, which caused ponding in front of The Venetian, & I took this rather odd photo.
Don't suppose David Bailey or Lord Snowden (assuming he is still with us?) will lose any sleep, but I was quite pleased with it.
Good shot!
Congrats Tractor, that's the first time in 11 years of blonde anyone has said I've taken a decent photo.
I was hoping for the seal of approval from Red Dog, but not a word. Jealous, I expect.

Had to look NTTP up but got no joy.
There's a dentistry term "No tenderness to percussion" which presumably means "if you hit it, it doesn't hurt".
That's the most interesting thing I've read in this diary for ages.
What a great thing to have tattooed on your nose. (When I say your nose, I mean one's nose obv).
Marv.

Don't try to guilt trip me, you know I know you know your stuff is must read.

Wrong! I've said it several times over the years but you obv don't remember. Marv.
The columns reflected in the puddles was a good shot. I was going to comment but I was busy debating with another member at the time.
PS- the NTTP thing was really interesting though.

Running better already - seat 4 on an 8 handed table, perfect. I can actually see the board cards without squinting.
15,000 chips, start at 50-100, with 4 levels of re-entry if the man on the microphone is to be believed.
89 entries so far.

Thanks Vinny.
Was expecting and hoping to see Doobs, but no sign of him yet. He was a little unwell yesterday, so fingers crossed he is ok.
Think Mr Animal has gone back to Cornwall.
