According to Nick Slade, Des Jonas is gone, caught bluffing with King high vs. top pair. I caught Jen talking to him in the lobby, so I'm sure she can elaborate.

Scott Piecher

Hey Jen,

Sorry I gave you the wrong seating assignment for Scott Piecher  - he's at table 8 but in Seat 5!

Good work team good work,

Anychance you can dazzle thw wild one with your flash and say gllllllll ya big muff Smiley

Cheers team Smiley

Here is your man, nicely placed on Table 1 so I don't have to fight may way through the jungle that is this tournament.

This is Ali Masterman, who worked for Virgin Poker, (I'm guessing he doesn't now) and posts occasionally on the forum as 'Ali'. At the start of this year he won one of the side events at the Aussie Millions for something between 200 and 300k. He's impressed Paul Gourlay sitting to his left:

Paul, "I haven't played a hand in 40 hands or so, he raises the button to 2k, I've got 6-4 and make it 6k, he pushes so I have to fold. He shows me J-6!"

The Gecko has doubled up, and I bet he doesn't mind being called Beppe.

Moving over the top of Gnuf member Sebastian Riviere, Beppe got caught with his fingers in the (Dusk) till (Dawn) and was forced to show his lowly two spades. However, with Sebastian, who admittedly made a very good call, turned over his , Beppe was delighted to see that he had two live cards, and even more delighted when the board delivered a two on a Two Diamonds board. Had to be the 2!  Grin

"I raised enough for him to pass," added the DTDer worried that I'd make him look like a plum.

American Chris Odle is still in with just over 30k. He's very quiet and reserved at the table, but I spoke to him briefly yesterday and he seemed like a nice lad. A silent assassin of sorts.
