i like ur line completely if you folded the river Keith. Flatting AA is pissing equity into the wind given this structure.

check call > open shove

he has 3600 more with a pot of over 7k, this is not the time to try and worry about maximising your c/ev. Pushing here gets two overs to fold sometimes getting almost 3/1, which is a result $evwise, and any hand you lose to, you call when you check anyways. open shoving is defo better then c/c in this spot, although the fact that you get urself in this spot in the first place is likely the thing you would want to look at before anything else.

Should I fold pre?

I prefer to resteal with small pp's rather than open with your stack size... so I would open fold here, especially if this guy is loose and appears to be playing back at you, not many flops that are easy to play

i think open pushing is superior to open folding, sans reads.. on first glance it seems to be unexploitable so if my choice is between non-allin opening/folding/pushing, i'd do the latter. It stops them pushin it in with QJ/10Q etcetc if you make a standard raise.

And in anycase, you're not thinking about the type of hands they would get into the pot there with 10BB stacks without raising and then snapcall us with when we shove:

With the overlay we'll receive we want the call. Also, the range of the second all - in will usually be so tight with these guys that they would have shipped it anyway already so we don't need to worry about multiple callers.

why we would want the call if we have 38% when called...

No idea if shoving is profitable or not, seems a bit spewy,  and I think that calling will generate a higher expectation vs shoving even if shoving is +ev

pretty shitty for Claire, glad the idiots got a little bit of punishment, although I'm surprised the cops just let em go to continue their reign of terror!

surprising, I thought teams like Red Bull/Brawn GP were masively in favour of budget caps. I guess its possible to be both in favour of it and to still leave F1, but still its surprising to see such an uprising.

How annoyed must those new teams be to spend all that money setting up a new team and have it end up they are joining a championship with no-one in it!

if when they generated their missing pet advert, they had in mind to make it tailor made to your proposed knowledge of said animal, then you might have some semblance of a point, but they likely didn't, so you likely dont.

They have lost a pet, they probably love it, and they are trying to include as much detail as possible when telling their local community about its disappearance to try and aid its recovery, and if its deaf, it will interpret your actions differently compared to an animal that has functional hearing, so if you find a creature matching its description, you can try and act with that in mind. I'm sure if you go speak to them about it, they will apologise about the excess information and amend it accordingly  thumbs up

yeah its slightly annoying for them to bludgeon out in this manner, typical england cricket really, show you how terrible they are and then give false promises as to how good they could be. Cricket matches like this (and most sporting events)  should imo always be played out to a conclusion or just be cancelled if they aren't completed and then replayed another day as long as the logistics arent too onerous. I was watching this in running on betfair at the same time and at one stage I think england, when bowling,  went down to 1.4 so it wasn't all one way, but I do wish it was just played out in a fair way and that the better team on the day wins.
10  Community Forums / Betting Tips and Sport Discussion / Re: bye bye Ronaldo on: June 16, 2009, 12:28:30 AM
what I suspect will happen is that Ronaldo will go to Real, play like the worlds best player, and the Man U fans will all lament the sale, but I think whatever standard he plays at for Real, he would likely achieve something like 70% of that for Man U if he had stayed, which would still be a high standard, but not one that is irreplacable with £80mm. Players will always play better for clubs they want to play for so whatever level of play he generates for Real, i dont think you can assume he would reproduce that same level for Man U if he had stayed.

they only scarf up that £1.50 on deposits i think, and if you send it over to stars to try and w/draw, you are gonna be shit outta luck unless you give them plenty of cover play before hand. They will let you do it once or twice as a goodwill gesture, but if you aren't playing there, they will soon pox it.

13  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Jen Mason, Jennifer Tilly and Aisling Collins in action now!!! on: May 25, 2009, 04:57:24 AM
Anyone who knocks women's poker should watch that heat.

Very high standard in my opinion. Barely a hand passed without a raise. Jen ran good but played good too and while we were all celebrating in the green room when she won, everyone also felt bad for Ling who played great also and lost the key flip to win it.

Rooks also looked pretty upset understandably.

I hope Ling canes the runner up heat as her play today deserves a place in the final imo.

For now though WD JEN!!!!!!

GOGOGOGO in the final!

did you see the HU hands? the play was atrocious.  They were limping buttons with 9/2os and filth like that. Put it another way, if some of those hands were posted on the PHA section, they would be ridiculed beyond belief and met with numerous 'hilarious' check boxes.

highlight surely being:

Quote
Heads up chip counts

Collins 421k
Mason 179k

jen raises to 25k with KdJs and collins calls with 9c6c

flop QdJd9s and Collins bets 40k and Mason is all in and Collins folds.

flat it with that 9 high, flop a pair,  bet to find out where ur at, and fold to a raise.

You post that in PHA and you will 100% get everyone saying how "terrible" it is.

Its fine to compliment things when they deserve complimenting, but theres no point complimenting things just for sake of complimenting.

keep the tickets for yourself and enjoy the space. Its a nominal sum of money. Freedom of space at concerts is under-rated.
