But is he gonna give them a chance to win the league... Or be top goalscorer?

So a player can only be considered as signing of the season if he plays for one of the top 3 clubs or is a striker capable of scoring 25 Prem goals?

nope but he inspired results more then the others so far in 4 games

Busted in 39th for like $500 odd. Kinda disappointing as i ended up being chip leader as some point  with 1.9million in chips then i got moved to a table. and lost 1.4 mil with KK vs j10 after i 5bet with them, then the board came J87 turn was a 9! cry!

Then i shipped on the same guy later on a J64 board after he raised the button and i 3bet him from the bb 3x his raise. and he snapped me off with 64o kind gutted but ah well thats poker!

Finished day 1b with 244,000 chips which I am pleased with being one of the 87runers out of 520 making day 2.  Now we start all over again tomorrow with the blinds at 3000, 6000 ante 600. I hope I have some more run good for day 2

Dai

Nice stack. Blnds are restartig at 2.5k/5k 500 antes. Wink

Well Yesterday was the start of the one of the big events in the Uk the Gukpt Goliath. This is my first live event from after a few months out due to my partner being pregnant it is only my 3rd  Live tourny (not included local games) as this year i was going to shift my grind from online to live which started off good with a cash at DTD and a bubble in my first 2 events. I did end up going to DTD alot more but i played the cash tables as i seemed to be killing them but then i had to stop due to family time.

But now im back to live poker after the birth of my gorgeous twin girls (Brooke and Caitlin), and as of yesterday it started great and was chip leader of Day 1a with about a hour to go with around 160k. I eventually ended the day with 274k stack of 61bbs in the top 6 of day 1a players. Im hoping to take my form over to the next day and im sure if i play like i did on day 1a i will be making my way deeper in this event.

Be nce to meet up with some fellow Blonde members playing this event, So if any of you are there sat be sure to stop and say hi, Also is there anyone else who played yesterday who made it through?

Gl to all of you who make it to this event and hopefully see you on the last day.

I prefer to raise here,  you will always notice when you shove for this amount like 20bbs your near enough always in trouble when you get called. By being dominated or on a flip vs a PP.

But i would prefer to shove AQ around the 10-15bb mark! Just having slightly less chips always induces a raggy ace or hands like KQ/kj to call in these games

yeh i think I would min raise with AQ if I had around 20bb, but then if we 3 bet, is it an easy fold? effectively if we get 3 bet, they know they are playing for my stack.

Folding? You kidding right?

This is a $3 MTT we have 17bbs and the ante is huge! Never fold this hand here to 1 reshove

I would never say to fold here if i get shoved on. i just said i raise as i prefer to rather then to open shove 20bbs

raise to fold is a no go here
