I agree, if it had been online the 10 would have hit the river for sure. Also, Tell Mateyboy #4 in blue top on right that Jac Arama wants his sunglasses back.

Darn you line-stealer you!  I am just going to have to save my specific picture of him and see if he makes tomorrow when everyone will have forgotten it again..

The early chip-gatherer Bhups Kholi, chip threading with his stack about the same level it was back then: over 10k and under 12k.

Oh, and he's got these cool red-lensed sunglasses - I bet they give every hand a rose tint.  Going to buy me some of them.

Hey Jen or Snoop, if you guys aren't too busy is there any chance you could check up on ken powell (aka kpnuts) in the $500 2nd chance tourney that started at 5?

I busted out of the 1500 earlier attempting a resteal against a persistent button raiser but he had AK, that's how it goes I suppose.

If you're way too busy don't bother, I'll get off my arse and head down myself soon enough.

The odd thing about America is that whenever you venture into a public area, other people actually try to socialise with you. (Yes, I know, it's a lot for us Brits to take in.)

Well, I was just in the wsop shop bying some sweetie goodness when a 70 year old man taps me on the shoulder and, in a deep Barry White-esque voice, says, "How are you, my firend?"

Somewhat surprised by a stranger asking such a question so out of the blue, I replied, "Er, great thankyou. Yourself?"

Well, he didn't answer my question, but did go on to say, "Do you realise that I was in the first World Series?"

"Oh really, I replied," feigning interest, "1970, wasn't it?"

Seemingly ignoring he continued, "And did you know that was back in 1970, 36 years ago?"

"Yea --"

"And do you know what we have now in 2006?"

"What's that?" I replied.

"This is a circus!"

And with that he exited the shop.

Crikey.

Well, here's a glimpse of the nearest rows of tables to the entrance, to give you some idea of what even an eighth of the starting field looks like:

To those wondering, nope, hold on, there's no one signed in. Anyhow, to those early morninger's, question 2 of that brief quiz from a few pages back was John Hennigan. Sorry, tough one.
