Not sure whats happened to Morrison but he appears to have hung his boots up. Never seen such a lazy ass couple of performances in my life for Leeds. Did he want to come to us? Whole team shocking today, could and should have lost by 3-4 to an distinctly average Charlton. Sheff Wed next ekk.

Brian McDermott as the new Leeds manager.  He's going to busy sharing his time between United and the Rhinos Wink

Plus he's got Watford Legend Sir Nigel Gibbs in as coach    .....      Gibbo's the real 'powerhouse' of the duo - top coach, great appointment!

Leeds appointing a nice bloke as manager?

It will end in tears. Mark my words!

Good luck to him though.

Smiley only just noticed when I tried to post.

Brian McDermott has been speaking about his footballing philosophy ahead of tonight's game: "I might look miserable but I'm not. It's about enjoying yourself. I'm only talking about my philosophy. I want everyone to enjoy themselves, the players, the staff, the board, and the fans. We had that at smaller club when I was Reading and it's amazing what you can achieve."

Evidence of the first LUFC manager in a long time to discuss the benefits of creating a club philosophy which isn't based on naive expectations of fans. It's apparent that a key feature of BM's style is to remove the fear aspect of playing for the Whites. Impressive.

The more I read and look into it the more of a dickweed Warnock was.

Danny Mills was on the Radio last night pontificating about Roberto Mancini.

The host asked him if he ever played under a manger who did get on with the players.

His answer really surprised me.

It was something like this. "Yes. David O'Leary. The players hated him. But it didn't mean we didn't try in matches because we were playing for us. But we were desperate for O'Leary to leave".

Any clues to why he was so hated?

He actually applied for the recent job at Leeds Smiley he still lives locally and always lets people know he was sacked, didn't walk away.

O'Leary is O'Leary full of himself i suspect. I remember someone telling me years ago he thought he was Leeds when he was the manager.
