lol reading the waccoe forums (along with 1500 others at this time of the night!) and a few people went to the player signing afternoon at the weekend and virtually all the players were miserable twats who wouldn't speak or show any appreciation to the fans for coming out and showing their support.  Do they think they have made it as players in Div 1?

I met Howson, Richardson & Parker at Gatwick airport on the way out to Vegas. There wer all friendly and happy to pose for a pic, but tbf that could be because they were heading out to Vegas.

In terms of Delphs transfer, im not really bothered, think it was inevitable. It was much more important for this seasons ambitions to keep Beckford to net 30+ goals and possibly also Snodgrass.

No league one club could ever turn down 8m for a player surely?

As to the question that has been posed with some degree of regularity regarding whether the squad will see the money or not in terms of re investment in playing staff i think you have to give Bates time with it. It may be the case that the gaffer echos my sentiments and doesnt feel we need anyone else new this season and it might be better keeping the money to try and build the squad to stay in the championship in 10/11 if, fingers crossed, we do make it up this year.
