We are a 1 man team. And people will be suprised when i name that one man as not being Jermaine Beckford.

Its Patrick Kisborbo. Hes a man mountain for us at the back and we really missed him when he wasnt playing. I think out of the 8 games in all comps we have lost this season, Kisnorbo was missing for 6 of them, and hes only missed 8 games in total.....

You expect Naylor to be organising the defence at all times being the captain, but its always Kisnorbo. So although i think we might get beat on Saturday, i doubt it will be a goal fest.

Taken from WACCOE forum, nice post.

He 'saved' us from administration and in doing so ensured (by piling more debt on us) that only he would be able to buy the club back when he himself eventually put us into admin anyway

The only real threat to our existence was when Bates/Astor refused to deal with anyone other than Bates, even though the consortia who had shown their hands were offering more pennies in the pound to our other creditors

It's not his business, it's MY club. It belongs to all those old-timers, living or dead, who told me weird tales of yore about Leeds in the 1930's. It belongs to every kid who has ever pretended to be Charles, Giles, Bremner, Sheridan, Batty, Dacourt and err Becchio as they bang one in in the playground. It belongs to anyone who's ever been chinned, or chinned someone, over Leeds United. It belongs to the bloke I saw in floods of tears at Armley Leisure Centre when we beat Bournemouth on the screen in 1990. We've all knocked school, knocked work, queued like idiots, got piss wet through, let down loved ones and made huge sacrifices for Leeds. It's not his business, it's OUR club and fuck anyone who tells those of us who care that it's not our place to care

It's bad enough to blindly comply, worse still to actively spread his lies and campaign on his behalf. Leeds Sporting PLC, or whatever it's fucking called, may well be a business designed to make as much money for its owners as possible, but Leeds United is much fucking more than that and it's been hijacked by people who care nothing for its past or future, just for how much money they can screw from it whilst they've got it.

Watched back the Leeds games and we did a great job snuffing out Norwich, silenced their crowd and made them dig deep and it got to Norwich, pity Martin pretended to get headbutt on Kandol and the cheat scores in the last min.

At Xmass I was in town and some Scottish geezers were asking me about Leeds, if I thought they were already promoted! Ten points clear and games in hand. When I said not yet there is always time for a blowup they thought I was taking the piss and I shouldn't be so pessimistic. Well no shit Sherlock up to now Grayson had golden bollocks and seemed to be able to do nothing wrong. It will be funny if will manage to turn around the bad run against some average teams coming up, but I really don't know now Sad

[ ] Cheat

It was actually Darrel Russel who got pushed in the face and Martin gave Kandol a rubdown. Hardly see how you can accuse Russell of cheating he hasn't gone down like some prima donna premiership footballer.

It was an overaction and I am with Claridge on this who said it was naughty reacting like he had been headbutted when all it was was a facepush. They also said (the football league show) is was Martin, usless bastards.

Ken Bates = Saviour.

At the time he came in the club was facing the very real possibility of complete extinction if nobody came in within 2 days (I dont know what i wouldve done if Leeds United had become extinct, it wouldve been worse than a family member dying) so i feel like i have to defend him whenever a bad word is said about him.
He is for me, the saviour of my club.

yeah i can see both sides and he did do some good for leeds, but his philosophy of a having half empty ground for home games, no community spirit, cutting back on the womens team, investing fukall into the team makes alot of fans question how deep he is willing to go for Leeds.

I think he did make a fair bit available to Grayson, but grayson just decided to use to loan market instead

Really really sad thread, hope the protest will bring it back into the public spotlight and justice will be served.
