for a good win?

Apologies, this is a almost a complete chirp, but I would like to garner opinions on the hand?

The dialogue between the two guys is priceless, but do they have a point at the end there? Did I make a poor call preflop?

Who would have folded and who would have called?

Looks fine to me, you raise (which is the only really dodgy bit) but when it gets back to you there is good enough pot odds to see a flop.
Nice one.

That's what I thought, but a few others at the table ranted at me too.

Even without the other flatcaller, I think I may still have called.

More importantly, where's my 50p?

At the end of the day he's the muppet who bet all his cash on a 3 spade board without one!!
He could have found out how good his hand was a lot cheaper.

True, some bet by him on the flop, huh?

Either way, this is mainly a chirp to be honest, I've really struggling online this week and it was nice to win what is possibly one of my biggest ever pots.

raising preflop here is fine.. you get to build a pot with deep stacks, hopefully inheret position and play against the limper.. he certainly wont expect you to have the hand you have, and you can just pressure him using your possie advantage. It also means you dont get pegged as some nitty idiot that only raises with AA--JJ/AK. It gives you loads of leeway, and this is real important when the stacks are pretty deeeeeeeeeeeeeeep

obv it dint go too well in this spot, but theres no way you are gonna win money playing poker at reasonable levels if you only raise with AA etc

Calling the re-raise is ok as well.. calling the jam is ok as well.... whole hand played pretty well

I dont quite know what the QQ buffoon thought he was doing, its like he wanted to play the hand as bad as possible

Suited almost connectors are great for being aggressive with, when you raise, nobody can really put you on that type of hand so you can really pull down big pots when you hit and theyre easy to get away from if you dont.
