Completely irrelevant, but Last of The Summer Wine was announced earlier and my nan said, "Oh, is that programme finishing then?"

A bit earlier Jeff Burke was telling the tale of how he knocked Gavin Smith out of the main event and then stood up and announced "Taxi for Smith". Gavin took the rubdown well and they went out for drinks together the following day. Gavin thought Jeff was a lunatic.

Anyway, the relevance of the story is that Martin Green has recently been moved to Jeff's table and has just said:

"If Gavin Smith thinks you're a lunatic, I'm only moving on your blind if I have an absolutely huge hand, cos he (Smith) is the biggest lunatic out there"

David R Lloyd just bit the dust in 19th place so we are now down to 2 tables. The next break is in 40 mins, at which point I will get a full chip count.

Not far off the truth...

Jeff Rogers has taken out birthday boy Glenn Martin and is now chip leader on over 100,000 chips. The average stack is 43,500.

Stuart Nash has doubled up to about 40,000 chips through Tony Adderley. Stuart's pocket eights were too good for Tony's pocket ladies, when an eight fell on the turn. All in preflop.

Mike, any idea how Kev O'Leary is getting on in Cork? The antesupdates don't mention him much.
