OK, I've managed to get the counts and have a chicken curry during the break. They have just resumed play. Here are those all important scores on the doors:

Table 5

Seat 1 Sunny Chatta 18k
Seat 2 Shahin Faraji 38k
Seat 3 Ronnie De Beaulox 26k
Seat 4 Peter Gourd 54k
Seat 5 Jeff Rogers 78k
Seat 6 Joe Conlan 21k
Seat 8 Paul Parker 55k
Seat 9 Nicolas Risdale 60.5k

Table 6

Seat 1 Alan Dean 61.5k
Seat 2 Martin Green 23.5k
Seat 3 Tom Levene 37.5k
Seat 4 Tom McCready 65k
Seat 6 Jeff Burke 52.5k
Seat 7 Mo Ramachandran 65.5k
Seat 8 Stuart Nash 16k
Seat 9 Dave Buckland 79k

The blinds are now 1500/3000

Red Dog just lost a fairly sizeable pot, losing 18k. He raised 5k preflop. Dave Buckland in the big blind flat called.

The flop came

Dave checked, Red thought and bet 10k. Dave raised him another 10k and Tom eventually passed showing

Dave turned over

A good laydown by Tom.

AJ if you get a chance, please tell Jeff to stay calm and not get annoyed at the bad beats! He was a human powderkeg at luton "He's gonna blow!!"

 ta

Message duly passed on. Jeff, who has had a number of beats in the last hour says "I'm trying to".

Jeff Burke is complaining that he's been card dead for 2 hours. Since when did he need cards?

Stuart Nash has just "got lucky", he says.

Moved in with Q-T, was called by A-J, but flopped a straight when it came 9-K-J

He's doubled up to over 30k now.

Short stacked Tom Levene moved in for his last 13.5k and Mo Ramachandran called, after looking at the screen to check the average stack.

Tom had  versus Mo's

Flop

  Two Clubs

Turn

River

So Tom moves up to just under 30k.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

We are now down to 14 players.

Joe Conlan exited wshen he moved in for 20k more from the small blind with pocket eights. Parker, on the big blind, called with Q-9 and hit a nine.

Sunny Chatta moved in on a low flop with 4-2, holding a pair and a straight draw. Nicolas Risdale, on 2 pair, called and with no improvement for Sunny, his attempt at a second main event final here in Brighton was over.
