Get both.
Nice poweful amd athlon 64 PC and a big comfy chair. (get it customed made with the all the trimmings for about a grand)
You can pick up a nice reconditioned laptop (£300/400) from loads of places on the net, just make sure it is over 2.4ghz if your multi tabling or it can get a bit slow.
Routers and wireless card are cheap as chips and a godsend when you get to the final table and the call of nature simply must be answered.
Out of interest anyone else ever ended up playing whilst on the throne?

My game has been known to go down the pan a few times whilst playing from there.
PC world have a decent one about £80 i think.
Ebay have got some real beauties with massaging shennanigans and other good stuff for about £100/£150. Got to factor in the delivery cost as well.

The most comfortable chairs in the world are made by Ekornes, www.ekornes.com. Wireless broadband is a must and I would go with a notebook with a 17 inch high definition screen.

I find the executive leather chairs £40-£60 from argos to be perfectly comfortable enough for a mammoth stretch in front of a PC. As an ex MMORPG player I can attest to the long lengths sat in those chairs and they are comfortable. You dont need to spend mega bucks for comfort.

I am sitting in one right now. The general consensus of visitors who sit in it confirms the comfort factor but the price tag is steep.
