Didn't return home until 6.30 am yesterday, predominatly due to the persuasive powers of Paul Parker who was adamant that we were only a short walk away.

30 minutes of wondering aimlessly through the dark mugger-infested streets of Barcelona with Mr Parker saying "It's the next street" at the end of each road, Paul suddenly turns around and says, "You are going to this place aren't you?", to which Jen and I reply "No"

Sigh, out comes the map and, after a slight detour, we eventually managed to stumble across our hotel, a mere 75 minute stroll.

I think we'll be getting the taxi home tonight.

Yeah, you can laugh, Flushy, but an hour and a half walk after 12 hours updating carrying all our stuff started out as funny and ended up sort of hallucinatorily exhausting... Paul did manage to show us the splendid "Arc de triomphe de Barcelona" though.

Just set up, so going to go and watch in turns with Snoopy.

   Snoopy and Jen    today

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Noah Boeken is OUT

With everyone waiting for a big hand, Noah actually found one, but his all-in was somehow called by David Layani's Q-7 (?!)

And would you Adam and Eve it... 7-6-9-7-3

Snoopy and crew please be very careful around the marina area at night, gangs of muggers prowl (personal experience!). Get the Casino to order taxi or wait in Arts Hotel reception while a taxi arrives!

Thx for that warning

We are well aware of the dangers after B4Matt was mugged earlier on in the week, which is why we travelled in a pack of 5.

Impossible getting a taxi last night, perhaps due to it being a Friday. I expect the same to apply tonight.

It's slightly dated now due to a couple of early eliminations, but just to give you an idea, this is where they are playing.

Please excuse the shiny head at the forefront. I was on my tippy-toes, but still got dazzled by Right Said Fred.

Correction, it was Layani who was the aggressor moving in from the small blind with Q-7, only to find Boeken sitting in the Big with A-K.
