Mateyboy raises from late position, Karen Lundgrun calls from the small blind, but Martin Wendt makes it 2k from the big.

Mateyboy moves all-in, Karen folds and so does Martin after a lengthy dwell.

Mateyboy showed Pocket Cowboys, although Martin doesn't look too happy about it.

Seeing as though Dave Barnes is at the cash table, he is either ultra confident or OUT. I'd opt for the latter.

Similarly, Michael Grecko can also be spotted mixing it up with Bambos in the ring games. He had 20k, but ran Queens into Kings, the chips finally flying in on the Turn.

Do you reckon there was an Eastenders duh duh dududududuh duh when his opponent turned over Kings?

John Gale has just caused a bit of carnage on his table by knocking out two mateyboys in one hand. The three of them saw a  flop and with both mateys quite short they both pushed on the flop and Gale quickly called.

Matey 1:

Matey 2:  (which you think would be miles ahead except....)

John Gale:

And a big scoop for the bracelet wnner.

Womble is out.

As I arrived he was contemplating a call for all his chips. There had been a raise to 1100 and Womble had made it another 3k on top. A third player, two to his left had pushed all in for a further 6,000 or so. Eventually he called and found his pocket queens had come up against pocket kings and that was it for Orinoco.

He told me afterwards that he had only called because the guy had called the clock on him after he had thought for 2 minutes.

"If he doesn't call for time, I definitely pass"

Iwan Jones -- 8.3k

John Persson -- 22k
Oscar Schweinebarth -- 12k (I haven't had time to find out how he managed to get to this from the 2.3k he had about an hour ago)

Jon Hewston has trebled up. He won a 40k pot with KK versus Julian Gardner's A-K and Danish player Frederik Hostrup holding 88. Hewston had knocked Frederick out of the EPT in Deauville earlier in the year and he has done so again here. He delighted in telling me this one.

Matey on Matey action now in a stonking 20k pot

Board read 2-9-5-Q-8

Matey 1 bets 5k on the river, Matey 2 reluctantly called and was shown the 7-6 for the straight.

JP news...

He doubled up with QQ, flopping trips while his opponent "hung himself betting out with pocket nines"

Then, a battle of the blinds. SB called the 200. JP, in the BB raised it 500. The SB's response was to go all in for 9,500, forcing JP to pass his A-Q. "Crazy" said JP.

Paul 'ActionJack' Jackson is OUT

After getting back up to 15k, he called a preflop raise with 3-3, only to hit a 3-T-T flop.

Unfortunately, Mateyboy had Quads. EEEEEK!

I think he could got away from it, especially seeing as though Mateyboy bet his Quads on the flop.
