The blinds are now 75/150.

I briefly spoke to JP about having Raymer moved to his table and he's enjoying himself, he thinks Raymer is not sure what sort of player JP is yet and is still testing the waters against him. He has 10,125 incidentally. (JP, not Raymer)

A conversation I overheard between two Pokerstars staff members went something like this (I kid you not)...

Staff member 1: "How many celebrities have we got playing today?"

Staff member 2: "There's a few. Bryan McFadden is playing and there's a guy from Eastenders on table 11"

Staff member 1: "I'm not sure he counts"

Staff member 2: "No, not really"

Here's Ade taking the 20k pot after his Scandinavian opponent eventually folded.

Did he start kissing himself and announcing to the whole world "you raise my big blind and I will put you all in?" TK is a big fan!

The Gentleman knows exactly how I feel about his ill-mannered comments, & he now excludes me from his "you are all liars" speech. (Which is the Ade Bayo Speech # 27). I don't have a problem with speech play, but I do think it's wrong that he's allowed to be so loud that every player in the Venue (and next door I should not wonder) is obliged to listen to him. Why do the TD's allow this? Why do other players meekly accept it? One despairs for Tournament poker's future.

Off the table, he is a fine fella, quite charming actually. These comments, by the way, I have shared with Ade, & we get along just fine. Off the table.

I joined RED-DOG's table as Tom was mulling up a tricky decision, with 10.5k already in the pot and a board of two hearts , Tom was faced with a 3k with just 3,025 left in front of him.

Clearly trying to figure out if there was any chance whatsover that his lowly holding might be ahead, I could feel the steam gently seeping out of his ears as he did eventually make the fold. He knows he's behind, the table knows he's behind, but when there's so many spondoolies in the pot compared to the River bet and you're left with so little, that final fold is so much more painful.

But fold he did, and although a call would have left him with a chip and a chair and a chance of creating a wonderful comeback anecdote that he could retell in years to come, he is currently on 3,025 - down but not out.

Now really is the time to listen to that signature of his and ask himself, "Waht would Mickey Wernick do?..."
