Ramzi is OUT, he came over the top of a re-raise with A-8 but was called by A-K.

Chip counts when the storm calms down, which shouldn't be too long now.
Blinds have just gone up to 800/1600 (200)
84 players, 46.3k av stack
The action in today's first level, as is with most EPTs at this stage, is basically raise, all-in. The only question tends to be whether the original raiser wants to call the all-in. Flops? Foooooooooooorget about it.

Adebayo is already screaming and shouting after moving all-in with 6-4 off after someone raised his blind. They want to put him on the tv table....sigh.
You have to see him to believe him. I wonder what the Scandies are making of him.
...and he wonders why he gets negative comments......!

Padraig Parkinson also appears to have bitten the dust on the second hand.
How on earth you can bit dust I've no idea? And what has that got to do with going out of a comp?
Can any1 enlighten me, I'm confused?...
Its a wild west expression. After being shot in gun fight, a cowboy would fall from his horse and hit the dusty ground face first, hence biting the dust.

...he saw off Trigas Maximilianos. Trigas raised to 4k, Andy made it 12k and Trigas moved in for 50k. Andy called with his Jacks, Trigas showed 3-3, which was unable to catch up.
Trigas Maximilanos....this bloke's straight out of a Bond movie surely?

Ade just got knocked down a peg or two, he's now looking rather sheepish after dropping down to 50k.
He called an early position raise from the big blind with
.
Flop =
Scandieboy bets out 6k (leaving himself just a few thousand behind) and Ade, after a brief session in the think tank, sticks him all-in.
Scandie boy shows
and is looking good and although the
Turn brought the Gutshotter a few extra outs, it wasn't to be for Ade as the River saw a harmless
hit the felt.

Noah Boaken just had Tens v Tens, which held up.
Dave Clayton had the black ones, he remains on around 80k.

"bitten the dust" originally military slang - to die in combat (face down in the mud or dust)

This is the formidable sight of William Thorson, the agressive Scandinavian who made it through to the teens in this year's World Series, one hell of a player who's currently on a rather menacing 125k.
Also seated on his table is the intriguing combination of Andy Black and Willie Tann, so expect fireworks...
