Erich Kollmann is OUT.

He raised pre-flop with A-4, was called in the Big Blind by D Makowsky who had 5-3 of diamonds. The Flop came A-2-6 with two diamonds. Makowsky bet, Kollmann moved all-in and Makowsky called. Turn was a black 4 and Kollmann missed his full house on the Rive. Makowsky is now on around 60k.

Here are the chip counts taken 45 minutes ago (I was starting to wonder if it had all been a nice dream).  So, expect the odd inaccuracy - think of it more of a snapshot in time...

Y. Shenkman     35,600
JJ Hazan           109,700
Matthias Stieger   68,800
S. Hosen            40,900
Mike Magee        55,400
T. Watson          21,400
Andreas Hagen   112,700
Dave Finney        66,400

Thierry vd Berg   115,000
Daniel Bertelsen    59,300
Ross Boatman       26,300
F. Jacobsen         86,000
Heinrich Liebling   39,500
Manuel Cuberos(?)  51,000
Devilfish                44,900

Jan Boubli            86,200      (not OUT, just on TV)
J. van Hoof         180,500
D. Kitai                62,200
J. Fahl                167,600
J. Koops               60,200
S. Pevzner            99,400
Sebastian Riviere    64,400

Vlado Sevo           62,500
Sverre Sundbo      101,400
D. Makowsky          20,500
Paul Parker            20,200    ***
Jerome Bradpiece   225,300
Surinder Sunar        66,200
Bruno Fitoussi         23,900   ***
Erich Kollmann        49,400

J. Petersen            56,900
A. Jalali                  84,200
M. Neuteboom       75,700
Alexander Kuzmin    41,700
G. de Werd             22,300
J. Ariaans                63,500
M. Vlek                  185,800

Wim v. Leeuwen      28,200  ***
Jan Sjavik                150,200
Sigi Stockinger          43,300
Mark Bolliger             30,000
J.M. Meijer               82,900
Rolf Slotboom          91,200
B. Biri                      86,700
Keith Hawkins          186,500

So, no longer strictly accurate, *** indicating no longer actually in the tournament.

That Paul Parker's a lot bigger than he looks on these updates.

We're easily amused...

Jan Boubli moves all in for over 100k, giving initial raiser Keith Hawkins on the button a decision (Jan's on his right so it must have gone call/raise, raise/re-raise from Keith, re-raise all-in for a lot from Jan).  Anyway, it's a pass.  Next!

J Petersen doubles up in dramatic circumstances, he couldn't resist a bang of the table either...

M Vlek raises from under-the-gun with A-K, shortstacker Petersen makes his move with A-J and Vlek calls.

Flop = A-9-7

Turn = 8

River = T

Ouch, through the back door... otherwise known as up the bummy.

German player, Michael Keiner, is saved on the River all-in against Vienne ESOP victor, Sigi Stockinger.

K-Q vs 6-6, King on the Flop, 6 on the River.

Interestingly, Paul Parker decided to fold Sevens just before his exit. Jan Sjavik had raised to 5k under the gun, leaving Paul a tough decision with his shortstack of 15k. Although he folded, Rolf Slotboom and Keith Hawkins were adamant that he should have made his move there and then.

As we always say, poker is a game of opinions, but I'm with Paul, I don't like calling there. But then again, I haven't won as much as Mr Hawkins or Mr Slotboom.

Hello Grin

Back home with my tail between my legs.

I've been lucky enough to play poker all over the world this year, and i have to say this is the best comp i have ever played in. The Dutch are wonderfully polite, friendly and funny people (schtoooop), they run a fantastic comp- the structure was incredible, they charge no juice, they provide free drinks and buffet, they added huge amounts of money and 9 wsop main event seats- Jeeees this comp is a must play for me next year. Oh... and in some parts of town beautiful women stand in doorways waving at you to come in for a 'chat'... jeees there sooo friendly. Kiss Roll Eyes

Best of luck to Keith, and as both Thewy and myself are jockeys- he's a cert!

Fab updates snooops and jen- keep em coming!

Something's happened to Alexander Kuzmin, and it's not good - he's down to just 15,300 (on the TV table) and moves all-in... but no callers, even though the blinds are Rolf and Jan Boubli... (he shows AK).  Paul Parker commentates:  "Just goes to show, you can get your bets through, even with a small stack."

************************20 min break*****************************

It's coffeetime.

But first, Rolf 'Ace' Slotboom re-raises to 32,000 on the button, after Sigi puts in an early position raise.  Everyone else has gone to the bar, so when Sigi folds and Rolf takes the pot, there's no-one but the commentator to show interest.

12k 700/1,400 (200)

Okay, here's a question for you.

Which option would you rather choose?

(1) Pay €5,000 for an equal stack of 10k and 350 players (ie, normal comp)

or

(2) Buy into the comp for €5,000 with 12k (700/1,400 blinds) and just 54 players left (which was Paul's Day 3 position).

And as quick as he accrued them, Jerome Bradpiece has conceded his chip leaded and given a chunk of spondoolies to Norseman, Sverre Sundbo.

Sverre raised to 3,600 pre-flop, Jerome called from the bug blind.

Flop =

Jerome checks, Sverre bets, Jerome re-raises, Sverre moves all-in and Jerome calls.

Jerome =

Sverre =

Turn and River both miss Jerome, which means he is now down to 175k whilst Sverre jumps up to 240k.
