OK

Suited Ace, and lots of connections - I dont mind the raise preflop, infact I would probably do the same

On the flop :

Well ok, not the best flop in the world, but why not lead out at as you did.

Once you are called here, you have to think you are possibly behind, and I bet if the 7 does not come on the turn, you are done with the hand

But as the 7 has come on the turn, this is a dream card for you - you now take the lead (barring 55 and 57).

There is always the good possibility you are going to get outdrawn on the river, but with no way of knowing if the guy has hit a FH, I think I would be inclined to check call here - I have made my mind up that I am calling the all in whatever comes on the river, so just let him bet it. He may even bet with just a 5 if he has you on a busted str8 draw.

But I dont think the push is that bad an option though

Just u/l m8 - welcome to my world Wink

lol.

Ok my thought was i had a good multi way hand but out of position, i decided to build a pot pre flop so if i hit i could bet big on the flop and try to negate my positional disadvantage.

The flop is actually quite good for me, if no-one has a 5 then i am probably going to take it down so i fire a bet out there, i get called i am 95% sure he has a 5 so i am done with the hand.

On the turn i strike lucky, now i bet out strong hoping he continues with his 5.

The river looks to be a really bad card, but i am sure he wasn't on the flush draw, my thinking here is how do i get the money in against his 5, of course he could have a 7 as well but as long as it isn't K5 or K7 (or 75) all is good. If i check i let him of the hook, i thought betting is probably the best option. My thoughts afterwards though were maybe i should just bet about 100.

I actually you played it pk except for the suspect pre-flop raise and perhaps an unnecessary bet on the Flop (not enough holdings will fold).  Just unlucky he hit on the River.

There's nothing wrong with that, but you missed and still bet. Position is even more important in Omaha and it's not unusual to find a call here, especially with the flush draw on board too.

Snoops unless i run into the nut flush draw i am not being called, and even then my 7 might win at showdown.

Craig, a couple of years, although in terms of table time, not a lot.

There are plenty of hands he can call with, just look at the tosh he called your pre-flop bet with. Don't just asssume that everyone is a good tight player.

Also, if you do find a call, you're in trouble because of your poor position. Many players can easily bet you off the turn. They may even call the flop with nothing to do so.

IMO, this is an unnecessary move by you.
