....pwn? Ok I always said owned, sometimes powned. Now I find out there's loads of yanks pronouncing it "pooned". WTF PWNED!

'Zimbra' is of course pronounced with the emphasis on the first syllable (ZIM-bruh), however this word is of course the diminutive form of the lesser-known variation, 'Zimbrabim', which is actually pronounced with the emphasis on the middle syllable (zim-BRAH-bim).

So now you know. "Blassa gallassasa Zimbrabim", indeed...

what about plastacine ....... we once had a drunken conversation in a pub about the pronunciation and did a survey of random people in the pub.

I say PLASTA SEEN, as in PASTA , but many were arguing that it was PLASTER SEEN .... no correct conclusion was reached although whenever the lads get together for a few beers and a meal, I always suggest we go to an Italian for some PASTA, but say it PARSTA
