What  -     What type of player are you   mtt/sng/cash   holdem/omaha/mix      pl/nl/fl

Why   -     Why did you get started in poker

When -    When did you start playing poker

How   -     How are you getting on  are you reaching your targets

who  -   i play about an even split of live and online poker     live i dont wanna be a constantly on the festival circuit  just play a few festivals a year. i have won four    smaller festival events   so i wanna get a main event title

what    online i play 90% pot limit cash omaha   and 10% mtts

why     as i think a lot of people got started  i got into cards by playing 3 card brag and shoot pontoon around the kitchen table with mates  that evolving when the poker boom hit

when  id say i have been playing for just over 2 years now   but its the last 15 months that have been profitable

how    strange how as time goes on you forget what your original targets were.  im happy with my game these days wanna play the wsop main event this year plus a couple side events

Who   -   I play small STT and HU games on a few different sites. I am just in it for fun really and have no real intentions to become Gus Hansen's next door neighbour.

What  -     What type of player are you   STT and HU games

Why   -     I watched LNP with friends back in about 1999 ish. At about the same time, I watched Rounders and thought it was cool. It wasn't until Oct/Nov 2005 that I started playing on VC Poker.

When -    Oct/Nov 2005 online.  Before online, I played a few games with friends but it was really slow and I abandoned those games fairly quickly.

How   -     I have found that it is much tougher than I first thought it would be. I don't really have targets, I just play because it is a calming and fun thing to do. This year I want to really find a way to work on the maths side of the game, I would estimate that 95% of my game involves not using any form of poker maths. I know this holds me back, but I am terrible with numbers. HU really suits me and I win more than I lose at this type of poker.

Who - I'd like to make a lot of money and win a major event one day.

What - Small stakes NL/PL HE and small/mid stake Mtt's.  I like Omaha too, but only for mtt's

Why - Not really sure, just fancied a bash when I was logged into Betfair one day and was instantly hooked.

When - October 2005

How - Getting there I suppose.  I started out playing £1 stt's, £2 mtt's and wouldn't even consider playing cash games, yet alone NL cash games.  I think I've moved on a long way in the last year but need to get out and play live.  I'm quite happy with the level I'm but could do with a few more mtt wins under my belt.  2007 is going to be a great year for me - I just have a feeling Smiley

Multi question time

Who   -    who do you wanna be    whats your poker ambitions
i want to be me and win the wsop ladies event. also, im going to win one of the pokerstars sunday games. ill need to book a few mondays off work first though as they do go on.

What  -     What type of player are you   mtt/sng/cash   holdem/omaha/mix      pl/nl/fl
mostly sit and goes (180 player) holdem no limit but i also like cash and mtts. really depends what i see when i first log on

Why   -     Why did you get started in poker
when i was a young girl my family used to play cards all the time. poker was one of those games although no holdem. then my uncle and his friends would play brag and i loved watching. the 'underground' feeling of poker was great although thats no quite the same now. wish i was in cin cins the night of the raid. thats would have felt like old school poker Smiley

When -    When did you start playing poker
very young although i didnt have a clue about holdem until a few years back. after watching it a few times on late night TV and after purchasing a pc, the penny dropped that i could play online. One night when i was pissed i decided to put 50 quid into laddies and i dont know how but i trebled it up and left thinking, this is great. ive never had any gameplan and played just for fun but now im structuring my play much more because im thinking of what im doing and what i want to achieve.
How are you getting on  are you reaching your targets
i didnt have any targets til 4 weeks ago but now i have im well on my way to them. infact only 400 bucks off the first stage of my masterplan.

Thought the new year would be a good time to post this

yes you are right. nice one and happy new year

Who     -        Ideally go full time by the end of 07, but I know that will be a stretch. Fall back option would be to combine with working part time. Also aim to improve my MTT game to a point where it makes me a profit. (Currently win lots at cash and give back a fair chunk in MTT's). Will also start to play live this year - Jan/Feb I hope.

What    -       Mix, but primarily NLHE cash, $1/$2, and $2/$4. Fave game is Omaha HiLo.

Why     -       A couple of years ago someone from the golf club I played at told me there was an old bloke from the GC who was on the telly presenting a poker programme. Thought it was the most boring thing I had ever seen, but watched it again and eventually got hooked by the challenge of learning to play.

When   -      First online game August 05.

How     -      Keep setting challenging targets each month and missing them. Tend to be there or thereabouts in terms of cash and sit n go's but get steadily worse at MTT's. Main target for Jan is to finish +$4000.

And most important of all, try and get to know some of you blondeites a bit better!!

Who......My ambition like most people I guess is to give-up work and play poker for a living, even if it's only for a year just to take a break from the daily grind of
getting up at 4.30 am six days a week

  What.....Mainly NL holdem stt's

Why.....I have always had an interest in cards from an early age.My dad always played and in turn taught me on the basics ie.3 card brag and pontoon

When...About 3 years ago i got into poker online after seeing it on TV, I thought to myself I need to find out more about poker and once I had come across
VC poker online that was it I was of and running.

How.....Well I've only started taking the game seriously in the past six months or so,and just taking things steady at the moment.I want to be able to take a regular
amount out for the time being and then see where it all goes from there.

Who   -   I want to win a seat to a major tourney and then do well in it.  I don't mean as big as the WSOP though. Not     yet anyway.

What  -     NL MTT hold'em but do quite well on the 5 handed STT's too. Played live twice.

Why   -     Played it years ago for petrol money but got into it this time round via my husband.

When -    Started playing on-line last November

How   -     I have improved ten fold but still have a very long way to go.  Make it to end stages of most tourneys but find I always end up in the all-in or fold senario.
