Raise quite a bit more preflop, you're out of position all hand, to 40ish maybe.  Then bet a bit bigger on the flop.  Dunno what to do as played, depends on the player, probable fold.

(Disclaimer: I am a full-handed cash table player, and so my opinions may not always fit in so well to questions relating to 6-handed play!! Smiley Smiley )

I'd probably play pre-flop and flop the same. (Betting too big on the flop with a high pair is one of the biggest mistakes people make at the cash tables. It gives excellent value to anyone calling pre-flop with any pair.)

I would guess he has AA, set, or 66. (99 and 44 are remote possibilities) making you approx. a 10% dog in the first two, and slight favourite (60%) in the latter.

What's your opponent like? What percentage of flops does he see? (If he's very tight pre-flop it adds weight to him having a set.) Or is he a loose maniac?

With no info on him, I'd fold.

The weak lead was surely to induce the raise, i am thinking QQ-99, possible he has a set but he is more likely to flat call your weak bet thinking you have missed.

Interestingly why did the first player raise and then fold for just 16 more?? What would the cash game players on here do that with, my guess is hands that are so hard to play to a re-raise like AJ/AQ?

Very few occasions I would flat call a large raise UTG+1. Almost never with hands that I would put down to a reraise.

Would probably fold to the all in unless I had some info, but would do it through gritted teeth, and wouldn't need much history to turn it into a call.

I don't get the 35$ raise. any overpair to the board would stick you in here. I call and pray he hasn't hit a set.

As James has said, the weak lead on the flop was to induce a re raise.

Boldie - I lead out on the flop, not raised

sorry my bad...yeah the lead out is what I meant. I was confused because you asked what to do. and that's why I was questioning the 35$ bet as, as you said, it was to induce the re-raise.
