I've played several times on the Poker Pro machine in Ladbrokes Casino at Paddington and it is definitely much faster than live poker. They also do not charge a rake, but a very reasonable £3 an hour and it is totally obvious which name corresponds to which player. Each to their own, but many of your comments about them are simply not true.

I managed to get to the exhibition with AlrightJack for a short time this afternoon, was quite impressed at all the stuff on display .... but unfortunately most of the scantily clad girlies had left by the time we got there Sad

the tables can charge a rake per pot, and they were doing. Obviously the software is capable of doing both but I'm just reporting was was happening.

they were slower than a live cash game by a long way even the deal of the cards was slower than a good house dealer. perhaps thats a settings thing.

and it wasn't always as immediately obvious who's action it was as live because hands weren't moving chips.

Thats all just a case of everyone is new.

I have played the 1 in paddington with some of the guys from BSQ, i was a bit slow on it but they moved around like lightning, we played 5 handed and it was loads faster than playing with cards and chips.
