£40k?

Not too bad, he'll do a job for a bit and looks close to a pop to me so should be able to give him a few weeks nets and sell him for at least double.

48.5    W   Weekes to Lewis
Great delivery from Weekes, Lewis has a dash at it and finds the edge. Dropped at first slip! No! Yes! No! Ata looked to have spilled the catch, but his quick reflexes allowed him to recover and he gobbled up the crumbs after some fumbles. Out!
48.4    W   Weekes to Khanya
A short ball and he pulls it to Deane at deep square leg.
48.3    W   Weekes to Gough
Sharp rising delivery which jags back in a mile after pitching outside off stump and topples both the batsman and the leg stump!
48.2    1   Weekes to Knight
Played out to extra cover for a single.
48.1    W   Weekes to Johnson
The ball shapes away from Johnson and he follows with the bat, offering the slightest of edges. An easy catch for Elmes. Out!

Blimey!  It's good job the upper order can bat. Set them 350 to win.

My tail do that too...

366-3 after 50 overs, a new record for me.

Nice quick fire 59* from 37 from Disley at the end, shame I forgot to set him to attacking...

after being 5-3  , 160 from mr Hendrie got us to 352-5.   pretty inexperienced bowling attack, so remains to be seen if it is sufficient.

349-2.  I'm thinking of selecting a specialist fielder at no.5 as he never gets to bat Smiley

First 5 wicket haul for my man Jennings too, makes up for the lack of the second century in the match. Always happy to add more entries to my ground's honours board!
