Back from pottering around the Western Isles. Won my second game in Div V by 165 runs. Hah, it's easy!!! Hmm maybe not, next week's opposition looks formidable.
Bring on the Blonde Cup, when's the draw btw?

Personally, I wouldn't bother training wicket-keeping if you're going for capital-gain... WKs don't sell for a huge amount, especially if there's crap conc or cons. I'd put 1 net bowling, 1 net fielding if you can afford it - that will improve the bowling, fielding and consistency - you should do the stamina sometime if you get the chance too.

Cheers ,I wasn't going to train him as a keeper but a left hand spinner could be useful

General rules:
Home team to challenge away team - this should be done as soon as possible.
Away teams to accept by the end of the game on Friday at the latest, remember if you accept after midnight on saturday the game will be scheduled for the week after (which would delay the whole competition by a week).
Any problems with not being challenged/accepted then let me know, if games aren't set up the team adjudged to be at fault will forfeit the match.
If you're going away for a week or anything then let me know and arrangements can be made.
Scoring is done as per battrick rules.
I'll figure out the rest of the fixtures later this week.

How much could I expect to get for this fella?
4. Robert Gough - 18 yo, BT Rating=5,087
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, mediocre batting form, superb bowling form, energetic
A destructive player with abysmal leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: abysmal Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: proficient Concentration: woeful
Bowling: feeble Consistency: abysmal

I've accepted your challenge Sheriff, I gave up scouting your team because I don't know if I'll be facing your first second or third team...
I was feeling good about my team, then I had a look at the rest of the group...
