Had hoped to get the match over before the half way point - our survey said: XHad hoped to put together a decent opening partnership for a change - our survey said: Xlost an opener in the 5th over with the score on 24 for 9 runs Had hoped to see my other opener go on to complete his half century - our survey said: Xhe played on in the 19th over getting himself out for 49 with the score on 106 Thought maybe i'd get to see my record purchase bat at number 5 to see if my monkey scout can spot a bargain - our survey said: XBecause we managed to win only losing 2 wickets!!  And that's the end of the match. Matts Monkeys won by 8 wickets. WE RuLeZ 136-10 Matts Monkeys 140-2 (i hope i never get to see him bat because that will mean my top 4 batsmen played superbly!!  ) roll on sunday  |

I fell as expected to a 10wicket defeat. Managed to keep them batting for 20overs, so was a fairly decent bowling performance after my batsmen were skittled.
Oh and I wouldn't mind their gate receipts after a 20000 strong turnout

I managed to take 3 wickets and keep them batting into the 40th over, not the worst result, should leave me with a little bit of +NRR to play with.
Now my aim is to win all of my next 5 league matches... wish me luck!
