Another top quality performance from my team today. Currently 78-9 as I prepare to go out with 1 player managing to reach double figures.
Funnily enough I'm not expecting to return to see a victory.

Good shot from White for a single, thinner batsmen would have gotten two.

0.5 W White to Nicholls White bolted that straight past Nicholls and split the middle stump in half. Nicholls is walking back while the groundsman comes out to replace the broken wicket. Not the start i wanted, best batsman out first over  |

my 2 first team bowlers were just as bad as the rest if not worse
RR was kept down by my 3rd choice spinner
aim is to bat 50 overs and get some practice in
wont get anywhere near 250 as i have set up a defansive batting line up
with a trainee and a squad player opening the batting for form reason

just noticed pokerram has put his 2 strike bowlers down the order
so now my top order are sitting back defensive then the strike bowlers will come on
my top order will give away there wickets as per plan and my best batsmen will be going all
guns blazing again his top strike bowlers

End of Over 20: 82-2, runrate=4.10, reqrunrate=7.60 (309-3)
if i can get too 40 overs with the lose of only 2 more wickets and needing less than 9 an over we have a chance
but i really need bardsley and sayce in for the last 10 overs against what i feel are his weaker bowlers

zia and maruma were both disapointing
i also played 2 spinners due to the fact i wanted to give everyone a game
is francis a bit of an alrounder then? if he isnt your top bowler (playing)
i gave your team full respect too thats why i had my opening 4 batsmen on defensive
although you can tell i havent opened with my top batsmen for this reason and i dropped 2 younger GOOD batsmen
to give 2 batsmen games for form

i knew francis was a top quality bowler
he just took 3 wickets in an over including my hope of winning when sayce went
as i havent gotten any allrounders playing today your into my tail
and as bardsley is on attacking against your top bowler i would imagine that this will be over very soon

the fact sayce shouldnt of been out as the umpire made a mistake is a bit annoying as sayce and bardsley might of been able to make the runs against the other bowlers
