Right tis decided, going to play my highest skilled players, despite their tiredness... tho hoping to keep my all rounders in the game without tiring them out... so have gone for 2 all rounders and 4 bowlers, in effect sharing the load with my all rounders. Also means I've managed to hide them down the order, in case my top order is pretty good and puts on my declaration score. And I don't have to play them until the final FC game in 2 weeks, where I'll be fighting to just get points against an awesome ( for my league) team

I have 96 ITS's and £1.6 million exactly so I guess I have till seasons end to get the academy up too scratch.

Once again many thanks.

the academy just allows you to add more ITS to a player when your pulling him

dont waste ITS untill the start of season

so no point is upgrading untill start of season keep the money earning interst

His average must be sky high!

My start hasn't been amazing

End of Over 39 (Maiden, 1b). Staples015: 134-3, runrate=3.44
Hodgson   2-1-5-0
Birchall*   6 (11 balls)
Mpho   59 (98 balls)
Last Wicket: Wilks lbw b. Jervis 9 (FOW: 113/3)

All rests on Birchall, as he his MY star performer

In 9 innings, he's hit 904 runs in FC, 4 centuries and 2 50's, he's hit only 376 runs in OD, but to save his PFL I bat him way down the order.

39.6    W   Lister to Mpho
That outswinger has drawn Mpho like a moth to a flame and he's been duly burnt as Lightbody takes a safe catch at first slip.

didn't need that!!

End of Over 40 (1 runs). Staples015: 135-4, runrate=3.38
Lister   10-2-31-2
Birchall*   7 (13 balls)
Duke   0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Mpho c. Lightbody b. Lister 59 (FOW: 135/4)

Now might struggle.

End of Over 50 (2 runs). Staples015: 153-6, runrate=3.06 (1st Inn: 258-10)
Lead by 167 runs. (WanderersCC 244-10)
Baldwin   15-1-32-3
Hyams*   1 (9 balls)
Birchall   69 (107 balls)
Last Wicket: Pickering c. Pieters b. Baldwin 0 (FOW: 151/6)

My game's pretty close. If Birchall can bat on to get us a 210/220 lead I might well have a chance of winning. Downside being they are into the tail, so he needs to up his rate tomorrow.

have changed my bowling orders too, in hopes that I get the best out of my attack

Doyle     27     6     75     6     2     1
Downes    16.2    2    54    2    0    0
Wilks    10    2    22    1    1    0

these 3 bowled awesomely 1st time round, best figures for Doyle vs a non-BOT. Wilks is my 20yo all rounder, and is luckily, a fast bowler ( which definitely helps on a cracked pitch)

Hope I can sneak a win, but its going to be tight, and its going to be tough.

player I bought was a 19yo strong bowler.. which means at the start of next season my starting bowlers will all be at least respectable.

Player I'll be selling ( soon) is an all rounder, prof batting and bowling, his only weakness being his stamina and his concentration. he's being netted until all his secondaries and stamina are competent ( IF I've got it right it'll be about 6 weeks) and my then he'll be strong batting and bowling.. and he'll be just 19.

Fc game won by an innings inside 2 days

I now have 178 points, the team in 5th is on 166. they will only get about 5 points from their game, meaning I'll have a 7 point lead. Unfortunately, next week, they play  the team I beat, and I am playing the league leaders. unless they throw it away, or I get a miracle result, I can't see me staying up Sad
