Stars make it real easy to ignore chat as well, just flip to the stats box.
Much more interesting, anyway.

Don't get tilted by what people say in the chat box.
Big deal if some anonymous muppet wants to bad mouth and swear at you - why should his opinions matter to you? If you can keep emotional control whilst getting told to go **** your mother, you'll more than likely have a big edge on this guy in the poker.
Remember whilst many people who do this are just plain rude, some intentionally use verbal abuse as a weapon to get an edge.
My mum's got cancer and I've been given various cancer related insults(mainly on party poker) before. I can still laugh at the people throwing these insults around though. They can't touch me emotionally and I feel I'm usually a better player than them. Let them keep their hate and I'll get on with whupping them on the tables.

I was believe it or not in a bit of a scuffle yesterday with a coward of sorts. I went into Melton Mowbray with the dear old lady (85) who lives at the back of our kennels. She was on her way to collect a bag of bones and some hearts and livers for her Bull Terriers. She pulled up beside the LloydsTSB which has a taxi rank beside it. She pulled on to the back end of it as she has a disabled badge and to allow me to go to the Halifax. As l'm coming back down the street to the taxi rank, some big fat twat of a passenger and his wife are getting into a taxi behind Maureens car and he is calling her a stupid old deaf bast*** as he has had to walk a few extra yards. Not being a handbags at dawn sort of bloke l go straight at him and catch him by his jacket and hair and put him on the ground with my knee on the back of the neck. His missus had been laughing while he was launching the verbal abuse at Maureen, now she was screaming. After a little bit of encouragement he apologises to Maureen and l continue with the collection of Maureens stuff.
I had a little visit from Meltons finest last night but luckily it was a small warning and no charges where been pressed.
As for Flushy, he terrifies me.

reminds me of being in france last year on holiday , we were in Versailles, and my missus wanted to go into a shop, but we couldnt get parked. so I just sat in the car (blocking the right turn lane about 50 yards from the traffic lights. I was pretending to read a map, and people were just going round me, no big deal. Except one brave guy who sat behind me beeping his horn. I ignored him, and eventually he pulled alongside, put the window down, and started shouting french obscenties at me. I gave him a hand signal, like basically, "go f..k yourself, and calm down". he then opened the car door, so I thought, bollox to this, and I got out too, and loomed towards him , at which point realising he was fighting at a weight and height way out of his division, ran back to his car, and bolted thru a red light, narrowly missing about 4 cars...
i went back to reading my map....

We are still dealing with this matter, & are currently awaiting the Chat Log from PokerStars. We cannot pre-judge the matter.

Both 'Stars and APAT have now reviewed the chat log from the Online series torunament on Saturday night on Flying Pig's table
For their part, 'Stars have revoked the player's chat privileges for one month. Obviously this is a matter outwith APAT's control.
APAT is banning the offending player from membership for life and refunding the membership fee to her.
