ok so why doesn't somebody put forward a petition to government asking them to change the gambling legistlations eg poker room license £5k to run and can charge a rake??

What about meeting all the regulations?

i'm sure all the poker forums together united could get a lot of signatures to be passed thru parliament

 Roll Eyes

Note to Flushy
Under the existing 1985 law in N. Ireland, we are allowed to play for a maximum of £4, yes four pounds, with a max rake to the house of 60 pence. There are no legal casinos and no gaming board. Are these the regulations you want us to meet?

The casinos can do whatever. All we poker players want is somewhere local to play without being hassled by the police. Unfortunately, in this backward province, this doesn't seem possible at the minute. Ah well, back to the internet.
Also back to Walsall next week. Maybe me and Flushy can have a re-match!
