Well, although Ash is still in and now has more chips than Flushy, he's just been far too erratic to win the Climber prize.  It must in fact be shared between these two - Paul King (on 70,000, had been on 4k third level) and Brian Johnson (on 69,000, had been on 5k fifth level).  Don't they look happy to already have more than the Day One A chip leader?

And here's James, so involved in what looks like some kind of "And another thing.." conversation that he's not yet noticed Ash has taken the seat to his left...

I've not mentioned this player before, because I haven't been able to see his face...here are the Before And After photos (before and after he looked up).

It's actually Anthony Mackay.  He's doing all right, with above average chips.

And finally, to empty my photo bucket, and to put off standing up until Snoopy gets back to the press room (we're not allowed to update from inside the Casino any more so we're backstage down some corridors):  This guy (bonus points if you can identify him) must be Howard Hughes paranoid about security, or collect shiny things like a magpie.

Eleventh hour (literally) double up for Flushy:

All in preflop with against Adam Stoneman's (although when you look at what comes out, it would have happened anyway...)
Flop: two spades
Turn:
River: irrelevant

So if he doesn't do anything rash, he's going to end the day (in 15 mins) with a little over average.

Also maintaining their focus in the late stages are Nick Hicks (over 25k) who was kickstarted on his chip accumulation by getting it in with A-K against A-8, and...I was just about to mention Praz but word has drifted to the Press Room that the previous GUKPT champion has just this minute gone out...
