unknown thing to happen in future or just showing how screwed up jack is, my guess a mixture of the two.

sawyer? the fact that she is not in prison is interesting perhaps whoever gets them off the island is powerful enough to get her off the murder charge. seems like there has been some sort of cover up at least, jack was saying stuff like if only i could tell you and they both/all/just him??? have free flights on all oceanic flights.

Hope link is allowed, thats the newspaper clipping Jack had up close. You can see it says "The body of John Lantham of New York was found shortly after 4 am in the 4300 block of Grand Avenue. Ted Worden, a doorman at the Tower Lofts complex, heard loud noises coming from the victim's loft. Concerned for tenants' safety, he entered the loft and found the body hanging from a beam in the living room. According to Jaime Ortiz, a police spokesman, the incident was deemed a suicide after medical tests. Latham (sic) is survived by one teenaged son. Memorial services will be held at the Hoffs-Drawlar Funeral Home tomorrow evening."

We dont know who John Lantham is yet. I thought i remembered Penny's name being Penelope Lantham, but im probs wrong on that.

I heard Michael has been asked to return but dosent want a new contract so they might have to kill him off somehow as Walt obv seems important to the future of the script.


For once, i disagree with Sark. I thought the 2 episodes of the finale were brilliant. Heroes ending coudve been much better tho. devastated about Jericho.

Its actually against the law to disagree with me now mate    .   I invented a new ruling that was passed today that makes it a criminal offence to disagree .


  No,  being serious ,  I will watch them on SKY on Sunday again.  I watched them earlier on Dailymotion and it was awful and kept cutting out.  I missed the entire Hurley and Sawyer recue mission and Charlie drowning. Maybe I was a bit harsh on the two final episodes,  we will see.

I gave up with Jericho as I couldn't find one of the episodes online, I forget which one it was.

just watched the last 2 episodes of lost..i thought it was absolutely immense. Gutted that we gotta wait til next yr for season 4.

The first time his dad is mentioned he's at the pharmacist and could easily have used his dad's name on the prescription just to try and get the drugs.  Notice he gives up when she threatens to phone the office number.  Second time when he says why don't you get my dad down here and see if he's more drunk they just look at him in pity. 

Don't think he's alive at all, just in there to confuse viewers and show how low Jack has sunk since leaving the island.

Amazing episodes though.

It was the utter nuts, it went a bit wayward this season and people were slagging it off a bit, its proved itself again! Its the best show on telly by a mile.

defo agree with PB... seemed to go south from about episode 10 or so.. seems like they are trying to belabour the story to make more money from a third series.. shoulda ended it with season 2 and gone out on a high.

Aye lost was a nice ending, wtf I didnt get it was future for ages till right at the end.

Ok,  I agree that is was a very good ending.   When I watched it earlier on in the week online, it kept freezing and there were loads of bits cut out of it including Hurleys rescue and other important bits .  I can't wait for next series to start

(2) Could it be a red herring, say, some philosopher's name just to frustrate the audience (ie. we were meant to be able to read that newspaper cutting)

(3) Is it definitely John, and not perhaps James, which is Sawyer's real name.

(4) Could it be an alias of Michael as he's supposedly off the island and many other forums are throwing his name up into the air?

THEY SHOW WHAT THEY WANT US TO KNOW, THEY KNOW THAT THAT CLIPPING WILL BE BLOWN UP AND ANALYSED. (LIKE THE 11 FRAMES THAT JACOB APPEARED IN)

On a side note, although he mentions his dad, I assume it's definitely a flash forward because 'Hoffs-Drawlar' (funeral parlour) is an anagram of that phrase.
