An annoyed with himself Chris Bruce pulls me over momentarily to share his tale of self-woe and confess, "Wanna know how I lost 20k" to which I replied, "Go on", which meant that I sort of did as a roving reporter but not as a human being who dreams of poker hands. Anyhow, Chris continued, "3 limpers and I had A-4 in the big so checked. A-7-8 flop with two diamonds and everyone checked. Another Ace on the Turn and I bet 3k. This lad (Andrew Feldman) made it 8k and I called. River was a rag and he bet 10k. I called only to see I was up against a full house, Eights."

It's not my fault, the Insert Quote button's gone all aggressive and keeps jumping up at my finger.

Alistair Woods and Karl Mahrenholz have also failed to jump these early hurdles and are now watching the action from the rail.
Slow played my hand to try to get some chips together and ended up with Robert turning a straight out of the big blind. Could have gotten away on the river but would have been crippled
Won't catch me hanging about on the rail unless one of the other boys is still in, always need to get away pretty quickly after an exit
GL Tony...do the business!

While there's the inevitable delay for the inputting of chip information, here are the counts from Table Eight I was getting for hotdog, who was railing Des Jonas, who'd just doubled up for the second time today, apparently.
Jim Bedson 56,000
Mukesh Morjaria 59,000
Vicky Coren 108,000
Stephen Slavin 70,000
Richard Simmonds 36,000
David Parker 42,500

I saw this opportunity during the break, but I genuinely felt too pervy to ask, but Simon Zach was up for the challenge!

wombles gone 9cTc on a flop of 9dJcQc- obviously he walked into the flopped KT str8 and missed his outs.
interesting coaching tips from dubai to pommo- get yourself knocked out about 8ish so its too late for us to go home but still early enough to have a full night out. Womble considering a night out with Dubai and roland (may be cheaper to buy in for bellagio main event mate)
that was me , pity I could not hold on to them

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

One for the Welsh now. If you know Stuart Menzies and Jack Owen, then perhaps you'll be able to confirm that they are twins. If you only know, Jack, then check out the photo below of Stuart and give your verdict. Separated at birth?
this chap abit better looking lol any updates on Jack m8?
Convinced yet?
Twins I tell you, twins!
I said to Jack that if my doppleganger, Brad Pitt, was here, that Jack could take a similar photo of us.

Got a quick story on Roberto.
Fellow media man, Nick Wright, spotted a hand in which Roberto was giving it the gift of the gab again (would you Adam an Eve it) after a 17k bet into a flop of
.
"Don't raise me, you don't want to do that" just one of the comments he came out with - and believe you me, there were quite a few.
Anyhow, he got his wish and his opponent fold, albeit after a lenghty session in the think tank.
Later I caught up with Roberto and found out that he had Pocket Fours. He said he didn't have a diamond.

What's the average stack and blinds?
average stack = total number of chips in play divided by the number of remaining players
blinds=compulsory bets to get the action started
you're welcome

Dave Pomroy is OUT - moving in against Richard Redmond with
, he was called by Redmond's
(I wonder just how much more it was to call - last time I checked Dpommo had over 60k)... anyway the flop brought lots of hope:
, but the
on the turn and river got rid of it again.
